Tuft only activates its camera during an active task, and you can see when it's active from the light ring.
Does someone remotely operate Tuft?
Be direct here state clearly whether tasks are autonomous, assisted, or a mix, and say so before anyone has to ask.
What can't Tuft do yet?
List real limits plainly small loads only, doesn't leave the counter/table, etc. Undersell.
How much does it cost to run?

Is my data and home footage private?
Yes — everything Tuft records stays on-device by default. Nothing is sent to the cloud or reviewed by a person unless you explicitly opt in to remote troubleshooting.
What happens if Tuft breaks or stops working?
Every unit ships with a 1-year warranty covering hardware faults. If something goes wrong, you get a replacement or repair — no need to ship the whole unit back first, we'll troubleshoot remotely and go from there.
